Been in the fossil fuel, and solar businesses for 25 + years. Not a fan of the green new deal nonsense.
Windmills destroy oceans and marine life....
Haven't the oceans absorbed enough of the worlds garbage ? Enough that the fish we eat are all contaminated with one thing or another.
Litheum batteries used for energy storage are just a nightmare waiting for us all to fall asleep. They have a shelf life, and the contaminants from the storage and disposal of the dead cells will destroy our planet faster than the carbon emmissions from all our fossil fuel plants combined. It's just not worth the risk. Better fuel choices might be hydrogen, nuclear, or hydronic ??? Bottom line is you must choose the least invasive on our future and cheapest available energy today to effectively move us forward. Sorry but global warming is a fairytale. The world we live in goes thru cycles, this is just one of those warmer cycles. Energy demand is also a factor in prices, our genious local governments refuse to stop the urban sprawl, they just keep building. They should require all builders to upgrade the infrastucture just as all A I companies should be made to build there own power plants when they develope data centers. Those plants should be made big enough so that it supplies the data center and provides free power to the community they are operating in.... if you create the demand you should be made to pay the price for it.
There is no one solution to this problem, but the fact is we must do a better job of forcing prices down for the every day working consumer.

Nothing should have more priority.
