To the editor:

With all that is going on in the world, there is a very important item that is flying under the radar, and it directly affects Conway’s tourism industry. The Trump administration intends to rescind the 2001 Roadless Rule (Roadless Area Conservation Rule), a U.S. Forest Service policy that protects nearly 58 million acres of undeveloped backcountry national forest, including more than 300,000 acres here in our playground, the White Mountain National Forest.
