SARGENT’S PURCHASE — History was made on the slopes of the Northeast’s highest peak on Saturday, as more than 550 cyclists from around the world gathered for the 53rd Annual Mount Washington Auto Road Bicycle Hillclimb.

In a breathtaking performance, three-time Pike Peak record holder John Keller set a brand-new course record, crossing the summit finish line in record-breaking time and shaving a full two minutes off the previous all-time mark.
