It appears confusion still reigns when it comes to free health care for illegal aliens. We have more than 20 million people here illegally, most of whom came from Third World countries with inadequate health care. These people are not immune to health problems, and a vast majority cannot afford nor pay for health insurance. So where do they go when they need care? Well, folks, they go to the emergency room, where they cannot be denied treatment. They get the care, and the vast majority do not pay, which raises the question: Who does pay?
Yes, what the U.S. needs is an immigration enforcement program that deports the actual wall jumpers and criminal illegals, meaning those who have committed serious crimes and/or those who actually entered the country illegally. Currently our deportation net includes targeting people who are trying to comply with U.S. law when they show up dutifully for INS appointments and hearings, and deporting them. The U.S. needs a logical, easy to navigate immigration program for those immigrants the U.S. desires and has accepted in legally, who are paying their taxes and medicare, and who are seeking citizenship legally. Why deport those people?... except for bluster. The current U.S. immigration program is almost indecipherable for normal humans and choking on backlogs created by unnecessary complexity, (similarly complex as the U.S. income tax code - most mortals cannot even do their own U.S. income taxes anymore without hiring accountants and lawyers). Then we need an equitably priced world class health care system. Currently the U.S. charges over twice that of other wealthy countries for similar medical care, and less people per capita are treated in the U.S. vs other wealthy countries. Fix these things and we will be good to go. Nothing to it. Congress needs to get to work. BOTH parties.

Peter Hill: One way or another we pay for health care of illegals
NOT IF WE CONTINUE TO SEND THEM BACK, AND DON'T LET ANYMORE IN....
