How many people in New Hampshire are impacted by the shutdown? Here is the latest information from the New Hampshire Fiscal Policy Institute, a nonpartisan, independent research nonprofit that examines issues related to the state budget, the economy, policy decisions, and the financial security of Granite Staters, centering on issues relevant to low- and moderate-income people and families:
I thought the "No Kings" Leftist-Communist-Socialist protest movement was protesting the results of the last Presidential election of Donald Trump. I guess not.
It sounds like they have turned turned their ire on the leaders of the Democrat Party, who have caused the current shutdown. The Republicans have voted 99% to keep the government open under the Biden (!) spending levels, and the Democrats have voted close to 99% to close it down.
Closing the federal government does cost money in the short term, but if this keeps up, the Trump administration will save that and much more by eliminating bureaucratic government jobs. This is normally very hard to do because of the unions, but this will actually be a golden opportunity.
Seems like the Democrat leadership has miscalculated and planted their tree on the wrong hill, but I guess we will see. In the meantime, I hope there are some effigies of Chuck and Hakeem at the No Kings protest. I'd suggest one for AOC and her squad mates as well since her movement is indirectly behind the shutdown.

And all of those workers will be paid in full once the Democrats stop playing around and agree to a clean Continuing Resolution.
Until that time, enjoy your "additional" paid vacation.
Once again, the Democrats' hypocrisy knows no bounds.
