To the editor:

Peter Hill’s recent letter to the editor again demonstrates how far afield MAGA cult members will range to justify their lies. In attempting to bolster the false claim that illegal immigrants get free health care, Peter cited California’s state policies, which have nothing to do with federal government policies — the topic of the discussion he was responding to. That doesn’t matter when one is trying to convince people a lie is true. Peter even noted that the funds come out-of-state coffers, but I’m sure he was hoping no one would notice that.
