To the editor:

A while back I wrote a letter or two about government hoaxes, narratives if you like. I call them lies. A big one was the sacred cow, the holy grail of stories: Jan. 6, the day our democracy almost died. Oh wait, it's not a democracy, it's a republic. It was still enough to make CNN's Don Lemon and Rep. Adam Kinzinger cry like little girls. Was the crying real or fake? Who cares? It was still pathetic.
