To the editor:

Hopefully, most of the folks in the valley are aware that as part of the latest stimulus package the federal government will be sending checks for $1,200 for each adult in a family and $500 for each child. These checks apply to singles earning $75,000 or less or married couples earning up to $150,000. However, you will not automatically receive a check if you did not file income tax return in 2018 or 2019.
