To the editor:

The Legislature needs to stop passing the buck to towns. Stop ignoring commitments. Stop breaking promises to share funds. Stop squeezing school budgets by neglecting your constitutional obligations. What other state Legislature has been in contempt of court for 33 years? All of these actions or lack of action have raised local property taxes. And now you’re blaming the rise in property taxes on select boards and citizens! It’s your fault!
