To the editor:

A few Bartlett voters petitioned a special article to be voted on by ballot vote on Town Meeting Election Day on Tuesday, March 12, from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. at the Bartlett Town Hall. This article, if approved, would change the makeup of the board of selectmen from a three-person board to a five-person board, a radical and unnecessary departure from the way business has been conducted in Bartlett since its founding.
