To the editor:

I want to pose a question to the readers: Are you better off in the past two years than you were before? Editorials, 24-hour news and social media all drive how perceptions become formed on the issues of the day. If we are to find truth about the direction of our country, we should let the facts speak for themselves. We should look for facts instead of opinions. A quick diagnosis of the American landscape reveals that Americans ARE better off than they were just a short two years ago.
