Anita Burroughs: With Republicans in control, why are property taxes up?

Let me be as frank and clear about this as possible. Until the Democrat Party and all those running as Democrats make a loud and definite rejection of the DSA and all of those who would identify as a Socialist, Communist, Anarchist or Muslim Extremist, I will never even concider them to be a legitimate candidate for any public office. If we don't stop this insanity immediately, our Country as we know it will not exist within the next 10 years.

Rep. Burroughs says she doesn't want to raise property taxes. She left out an important caveat: not yet.

Because the Democrats' playbook is always to raise taxes. This is how they redistribute wealth. Taxes go up, services go up, state employment goes up, and then guess what? More taxes are needed. The endless cycle thus continues.

In Massachusetts, this is blatant. But in NH, it is more subtle. Instead of Democrats saying they want taxes to go up, they pretend to defend one tax in order to increase another. Then when they are in charge, both taxes will increase.

For example, look at how hard Democrats in other states are trying to add a "Billionaire's" tax (formerly known as the "Millionare's tax" before it was learned that Bernie Sanders was a millionaire.) Once a wealth surcharge is enacted, it is only a matter of time before the triggering amount moves down to affect you and your family. Ever hear of the "Alternative Minimum Tax"?

Even Communist Mayor Mamdami in NYC prematurely let the cat out of the bag. He and Gov. Hochul introduced a "pied a terre" tax on vacation homes worth over $5 million that would affected approx. 10,000 people. Then the notices went out to hundreds of thousands. I'm sure that "clerical error" was a Freudian slip.

Don't let the Democrats fool you into thinking they are for lowering property taxes. They want to lower them to get elected, and then they will raise them once they are in power. Count on it.
