To the editor:The "Radical Environmentalist's" Bike to School Week kudos are for all who biked, hiked, walked, exercised, played sports and/or reduced the mileage on their vehicles during last week's national Bike to Work event. We and our natural community will be much more healthy in the future if we can focus on using legs as the alternative energy source.Kudos to Parker Haynes, Brandon Rocco and the other anonymous student bikers as well as Jason Cicero, Ian Sutherland, Jocelyn Judge, Steve Woodcock, Suzanne Lee, and Kathleen Frenette who were able to meet their personal goals.Thank you also to Red Jersey Cyclery, Tin Mountain Conservation Center, and Pearl Izumi for supporting this initial "small step" in protecting our environment.
