To the editor:Lilliputian Montessori Preschool in Jackson would like to extend its sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who made its first childrens fair in the park such a success! The childrens fair was held in conjunction with Jackson Area Chamber of Commerces Wildquack River Festival on Sunday, May 25. Thanks to this event, many folks were gathered in Jackson Town Park for what was truly a day for the ducks! A huge thank you goes to the parents, relatives and friends of our preschool students who helped out with the set-up, clean-up and safe and fun supervision of all of the crafts, food and activities available for children and their families. Thanks also goes to local businesses and organizations that supported this event through contributions of materials and funds, including Hannaford's, Shaws, Ben and Jerrys, Friendlys, North Conway Community Center, Jackson Community Church, Red Fox Pub, Jackson Grammar School, Mountainside Bed and Breakfast, Jackson K-Kids, Kennett Junior High Key Club and Jackson Arts Exploration. We would also like to thank everyone who generously lent us their tents to help keep everyone dry: Sue Wilcox, the Burton family, the Meyers family, the Doucette family and Attitash/Bear Peak. This event again showed the community support that we have here in the Mount Washington Valley, especially for the education of our children! Thanks again to everyone and we look forward to seeing folks for another fun day in the park next spring. Suzie CarrierEmily Benson
