President Obama was in Cuba this week. His entourage touched down in Havana on Sunday and included several dozen members of Congress plus U.S. business leaders. It was the first presidential visit since the Cuban Revolution in 1959.

Obama was there this week; I was there last week. I left on Saturday, the day before the president arrived. I was there the week prior, surrounded by constant evidence something big was happening: Roads getting repaved, buildings repainted, parks cleaned, long-dormant projects getting completed.
