Of all the issues that I’ve ever championed, none has touched as many hearts as the ongoing effort to save the Lyman Mountain watershed and the cherished view of the Little White Church in Eaton. Folks, we have a deal!

One of the most important lessons my mother taught me was that we must always show courage and stand for what we believe is right even if it’s difficult. In this case, it wasn’t very difficult at all because this issue united even the most ardent foes — seriously, who among us thought there was a cause that could ever put Eaton’s conservatives and I on the same team?
