CONWAY — A living room for North Conway. That’s how Alec Tarberry, president of The Berry Companies and co-owner of the Eastern Slope Inn Resort in North Conway, described the plans in place for moving into the next century of operation for the 100-year-old inn.

Tarberry made his remarks at the inn's centennial gala held last Friday at the new location for 27 North, formerly of Seavey Street, now located in the first floor space of the inn.
