There was a column written, typed in on line, within a line or two of being complete. It was about grandmother making a great pickle recipe and being able to follow it for years because she kept the recipe and notes in her cook book . The history of her cooking, her mother's cooking and her grandmother's cooking . Well, somehow it took a deep six. Yes, it is gone and it will not be back. This country has a recipe for success, called our Constitution. Last week or so a letter to the editor spoke of some great magic being worked in the courts in the 1930s. As I remember at that time, the Rosengergs and all their fellow travelers were working on a little magic of their own. There was a wrestling match going on in our educational system and the Socialists won. By default . The conservitives went quiet, just as they did this session when Judge Estrada was passed over again. The Constitution of the United States of America clearly states that no religious test would be given to qualify for a federal judgeship. Why were all our conservative senators quiet? One senator, Chuck Schuma held the Senate hostage for over a year, by an un-constitutional question. Are all the conservitive senators brain dead? You can bet I will be asking Senator Sununu a question or two about it. Why was Estrada not defended more strongly? Why was Sen. Chuck Schuma left alone all that time when he should be brought up on charges of un-lawful obstruction. We have the recipe for success right there in front of the Capitol. All we have to do is make those sorry senators follow it . This was a constitutional republic. No more. When one judge can make a law, when one senator can stop our whole judicial system and your senator is totally quiet, the republic is dead. Gone to the Socialist who will give our nation away. Gone to the liberal media that slant the news to make people look bad when it is not true. Media showing filth to your children every day . I think if government does not provide for and protect the whole community and does not improve when shown its errors, the people must either reform the old or establish a new government. Not changing the government when it is oppressive is slavish or just plainly ridiculous. I know the recipe for success is there, we built this nation following the Constitution, our leaders would do well to follow it or plan on being replaced. There will cries of "radical" and name calling to make this writer look bad, but we shall go on. This outfit does belong to us, we the people. Under the Constitution, Article Ten. Albert L. Hill, who writes under the name Cheyenne, is a local columnist.
