CONWAY — “Begrudgingly” was the word of the night for the Conway School Board on Tuesday. After lamenting their desire not to pay $462,832 in assessment charges to the New Hampshire Interlocal Trust, the health insurance provider that served the district until last spring, board members all “begrudgingly” voted to do so.

The board plans to use surplus funds from the 2024-25 school year to cover the cost. SAU 9 Director of Budget and Finance Mike Wade is projecting approximately $950,000 in surplus funds.
