To the editor:

I would like to congratulate the board of directors and the hard working staff of the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire-North for a job well done. 2011 represented a stellar year for the shelter, assisting nearly 1,000 homeless animals in need and achieving financial stability and viability. The board has worked hard over the past few years to find new and creative ways to raise funds while shaving expenses without compromising the welfare of the animals.
