Police arrested a woman who allegedly approached and grabbed a school girl by the shoulder without permission and created several disturbances at local convenience stores and the public library.Patricia Blaisdell, 50, of Bald Hill Road in Conway, formerly of Rumford, Maine, was arrested Feb. 20 on charges of disorderly conduct and assault of a police officer. That day, she allegedly was yelling, screaming and disrobing at the Conway Public Library, and during her arrest, kicked a police officer, Lt. Chris Perley said.She was arrested again on March 20 on a charge of simple assault when she allegedly approached a school girl, engaged her in conversation and grabbed her shoulder without the girl's permission. Perley said the girl was not injured, and the physical contact was not sexual in nature.In a third arrest, Blaisdell was charged with disorderly conduct on March 22 when she allegedly began yelling and screaming while at two local convenience stores, Perley said."This was a flash of irrational and unfortunately criminal behavior," Perley said. Blaisdell was held on $1,500 cash bail, and sent to the county House of Corrections. Perley said he was not sure whether she had posted bail. Blaisdell's trial date is set for May 5 at the Northern Carroll County District Court in Conway.
