• Before anyone takes their opening ski runs or shreds on their snowboards, a ton of work goes on behind the scenes to get the local alpine ski areas open for the season. “A lot of blood, sweat and tears goes into opening for the ski season,” said Jessyca Keeler, president of Ski NH, which is now based in Conway.
