Tamworth motorcyclist dies in crash [08/14/2004]

Duane C. Woodward, 36, Tamworth, died instantly Thursday evening in a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Page Hill Road and Turkey Street in Tamworth.Woodward was driving a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle north along Turkey Street approaching the intersection when, according to a New Hampshire state police press release, he died in a "single-vehicle collision." Troop E responded at about 11:45 p.m. Assisting at the scene was Sgt. Edward Giroux, Trooper James Fogarty, members of the Tamworth Fire Department and Med-Star Ambulance. The incident remains under investigatoin by Trooper Justin Rowe of the New Hampshire State Police.
