Debbie Cotrell takes a moment to answer a visitors questions last year on the finer points of preparing an apple stuffed pumpkin; one of the many historic and eminently edible dishes prepared at the Remick Country Doctor and Farm Museum's annual Historic Thanksgiving demonstration held in Tamworth. Ably assisting her was one of the Farm Museums many youth volunteers, Gail Marie Lane. The farm will once again be hosting a Thanksgiving cooking workshop this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pre-registration is required. For more information and to reserve a spot in the group, call 323-7591. With Turkey Day just around the corner, here's an opportunity to make yours a Thanksgiving to remember. (BRUCE BEDFORD PHOTOS)
