CONWAY — A retirement party to be held for longtime Conway police lieutenant Chris Perley originally scheduled aboard the M/S Mount Washington on Lake Winnipesaukee has been moved to Hobbs Tavern and Brewing Company on Sunday, July 20.

"Unfortunately, we weren't able to come up with (the 150 required guests) and with the deadline approaching had to find another plan," Conway Police Chief Ed Wagner said, Wednesday by phone. "I really want to thank the M/S Mount Washington staff for their understanding and I'm sorry we couldn't make it happen."
