FRYEBURG, Maine — With the Fryeburg Fair in full sway, Roger L. Stevens Jr. couldn't have picked a better time to come out with his colorful and heartwarming new book, "A Day at the Fair," which captures the wonders of the annual event with original poems and photos.

Arriving back from the printer late last week, the book is now available at Stevens' booth at the fair's Craft Center, just to the left of the entrance, as well as at White Birch Books in North Conway and Spice and Grain in Fryeburg, as well as at other venues in Maine.
