CONWAY — The Zoning Board of Adjustment  last week voted to deny a rehearing to Settlers, which asked that their "Wings" mural be allowed to remain.

In April, Settlers Green principal owner Rob Barsamian and his attorney, Derek Lick, now of Orr and Reno of Concord, went before the ZBA to make the case that outdoor murals at the outlet village deserve to stay, despite the fact that town zoning officer Jeremy Gibbs flagged them as violating the sign ordinance.

Don't the local code enforcement officer and ZBA members in Conway have better things to do with their time? If the offending mural on a wall inside the store, no issue. It is on a wall within the Settler's Green property, so also no issue.

Perhaps they can grab a coffee and donut at Leavitt's Bakery and hash it out. Wait...never mind.
