FRYEBURG, Maine — While voters showed up in force to the annual Fryeburg town meeting last Thursday and approved all articles on the warrant, most of the discussion was confined to a controversial 40-year lease for a jet hangar at Eastern Slope Regional Airport and the proposed purchase of the C.A. Snow School by the town for $1.

Fryeburg Town Manager Sharon Jackson said 125 voters were checked in to the meeting held June 14 at the Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center at Fryeburg Academy. Average attendance is usually around 100. Voting was done by a show of hands.
