CONWAY — The largest storm of the winter fell on the area Wednesday night into Thursday, dumping more than a foot and a half of snow on parts of the Mount Washington Valley.

Winter Storm Quinn canceled school; pushed back the state hockey semifinals; delayed annual Tamworth School District Meeting to Friday night; and was a welcome sight at local resorts and touring centers.
