BERLIN — The annual WingZilla Chicken Wing Cook-off attracts the region’s top grill masters to compete for bragging rights. But this year, Wingzilla will no longer be strictly a fowl competition. Welcome RibZilla. The popular September festival will include a ribs competition as well.

Being held this Saturday, seven competitors have signed up for the chicken wing competitions, with several submitting multiple recipes. Richard Lam, who took first and second place last year, will be back to defend his title. A new competitor this year is Sukanlaya Petterman with a Thai version of wings.
