CONWAY — Expect the Whitaker Woods logging operation to take place in May, conditions permitting.
That was the update given by David Weathers, selectmen’s representative to the Conway Conservation Commission, to selectmen at their Tuesday meeting about the planned 13-acre cut to take down red oaks that have been affected by two years of spongy moth infestation and drought, along with a late May frost last year.
