CONWAY — At a well-attended ceremony Tuesday that drew close to 100 people, the road formerly known as Cess Pool Drive became Thom Steele Way, in honor of the longtime public servant who served the town in so many ways — and also bestowed the road with its original name.

The road served as access to Conway Village’s septic lagoons off Route 113 until they were closed about 10 years ago.
