TAMWORTH — Selectmen will be holding a public hearing next week to explain why a second town meeting is needed to ratify the results of the town meeting that was held last week.
Residents at the town meeting held March 13 were told by moderator Chris Canfield and attorney Matt Serge of Drummond Woodsum they would would have to ratify their votes at another town meeting after a mistake was made in posting the warrant.
