TAMWORTH — The Chocorua Community Association is once again sponsoring events for candidates running for offices in Carroll County in October. The invited candidates for these events are competing for votes from — mostly — Carroll County voters. Voters from all Carroll County towns are welcome.

The first is on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at the K.A. Brett School in Tamworth. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the event starts at 7 p.m. Invited candidates are running for Executive Council District 1;, State Senate District 3, House District 3 (Madison, Tamworth, Moultonborough), and House District 8 (the previous three towns plus Freedom, Eaton, Effingham, Brookfield and Wakefield).
