While members of the superintendent search committee spoke glowingly about its top candidate to succeed retiring superintendent Kevin Richards, two members of the SAU 9 Executive Board are still negotiating with Dr. Kathryn Morem, an educational consultant from Jupiter, Fla. A special meeting of the SAU 9 Board is scheduled for today at 6 p.m. in the Professional Development Center at the SAU 9 office. The lone topic on the agenda is “superintendent negotiations.”
