TAMWORTH — The New Hampshire Housing Authority now says that four tenants remain at the subsidized Chocorua Woods apartments, disputing an attorney’s claim that only two were still in the building ahead of its planned Jan. 1 closure.

A contract between Sonata Housing, the property owner, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is terminating. In July 2022, Sonata Housing voted to dissolve the non-profit on Dec. 31, 2025.
