CONWAY — The Conway School Board has created an ad hoc committee to oversee the school district’s food service program. The program lost more than $200,000 this past year and school officials are bracing for a similar increase in 2018-19 unless the committee can find cost-savings or a new revenue stream.

The board voted 4-1-2 on April 9 not to renew the contract of Brian Coffey of Bartlett, who has been food service director for the district since July 2015. His last day is June 30.
