CONWAY — A flaw with Conway’s voter-adopted rental inspection plan means it can’t be enforced until voters amend the ordinance at town meeting. Meanwhile, the town has asked the Superior Court to extend the deadline for its response to a lawsuit by a local rental association.

At the Sept. 3 selectmen’s meeting, Deputy Town Manager Paul DegliAngeli had said Conway wouldn’t take action against out-of-compliance landlords until after a lawsuit filed by the Mt. Washington Valley Association for Responsible Vacation Rentals is adjudicated.
