CONWAY — While still planning to be involved in the outdoor community, Tyler Ray, the founder and director of Granite Backcountry Alliance, has announced he is stepping down after leading the organization since 2016.

The GBA board will be sharing an executive director position opening by June 1. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-profit management, fundraising and leading for sustainable organizational growth. The hiring committee hopes to elect a candidate by early summer.
