FRYEBURG, Maine — The planning board got an earful from a crowd of residents last week over a proposed "property maintenance ordinance" intended to address and preserve the condition of people's buildings and grounds in town.

The meeting held Tuesday night at the American Legion Building was attended by about 35 people.
