CONCORD — A total of 51 permit holders were drawn in this year’s moose hunt lottery, scheduled to take place in New Hampshire on Oct. 20-28.

The lottery winners were randomly selected by computer from a pool of more than 6,000 applicants. In addition, one hunter will have the chance to hunt moose because he or she was the highest bidder in an annual auction that benefits the Wildlife Heritage Foundation of New Hampshire.
