CONWAY — The 11th annual MWV Science and Technology Fair took place at the Technology Village on May 10. Nearly 240 students displayed almost 200 exhibits showcasing interesting experiments and engineering projects that included subjects like prosthetic limbs, shoe sensors to aid the visually impaired, the effect of music on concentration and machine learning.

Nearly 300 fifth- and sixth-graders came by the science fair to learn more about what it takes to plan and conduct scientific experiments, and over 80 community organization and business members — including doctors, engineers, pharmacists and lawyers — came by to meet these students and help evaluate their exhibits.
