CONWAY — With the start of school roughly five weeks away, Conway and Bartlett still need to fill a long list of openings. Aside from struggling to attract applicants, the district, according to Conway School Board Chair Amy Snow has lost a handful of candidates to the housing shortage.
“There was no place for them to live,” Snow said at last Monday’s board meeting. “I cannot blame them for not wanting to have to drive through the (Pinkham or Crawford) Notches to work here.”
