CONCORD — Two longtime election officials are being recognized this week by the New Hampshire Secretary of State’s Office. Gail Paine of Bartlett and Pat Waterman of Wolfeboro are being celebrated on the Secretary’s Facebook page as “Election Hero Day” honorees.

Paine is the state’s current longest-serving supervisor of the checklist at 55 years and counting for the town of Bartlett, while Waterman holds the honor as the longest-serving town clerk at 50 years.
