LITTLETON — In a town besieged by issues of inclusion, gay rights and public art, Town Manager Jim Gleason announced his resignation at the Littleton Board of Selectmen meeting Monday.

Selectmen said they have no plans to “ban art.” Yet Selectman Carrie Gendreau, who is also a Republican state senator, did call homosexuality an “abomination” and has said in August she didn’t want an LGBTQ+ mural in her town.

Everyone needs to just be....

Its the rubbing in the face that creates hostility.

If everyone would just be, there would be peace.

Inclusion happens naturally, if your a good person, people want to be around you, and you get included.

When your a radical, with an in your face agenda, you are met with resistance.

Art is beautiful in the eyes or the beholder. But, one mans treasure is another mans trash....

Public art should not be demonstrative to a cause, or in your face. Private art can be whatever one desires.

So lets stop with the in your face agenda, and everyone just be.....
