CONWAY — The Kiwanis Club of Mt. Washington Valley recently instituted a $1,000 annual scholarship for an area high school graduate pursuing post-secondary education in culinary arts or hospitality.

The scholarship was created to honor retiring Kiwanis member Jim Dunwell, who helped charter the Mount Washington Valley club in 1975.
