CONWAY — A Kennett High School paraprofessional was released on personal recognizance Thursday after being charged with two counts of possessing child pornography. He has pleaded not guilty in Superior Court. The SAU 9 superintendent says the suspect has been placed on leave.

The suspect, Adam Jones, 40, of North Conway, was taken into custody Wednesday, as a result of an investigation into the possession of sexually explicit images and videos involving children. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing, and Conway Police Department and the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force anticipate a number of additional charges may filed against Jones in the future.
