CONWAY — The Conway School Board voted 6-0 to spend a little over $1 million to replace 67,700 square feet of roofing — or one-third of the entire roof — at Kennett High School on Monday, and felt relatively good about the price tag, which initially was estimated at over $2.3 million.

The 2007-era roof has been leaking in recent years, and the project will be done over the span of two years.
