CONCORD — Being able to sit in your kitchen in your pajamas and testify on legislation or even just watch it being debated may soon be a thing of the past.

A bill that would have made permanent Zoom or remote access to legislative hearings was recommended Wednesday to be killed by the Republican majority of the House Judiciary Committee on an 11-10 vote.
