SARGENT'S PURCHASE — On Monday at approximately 11:55 a.m., New Hampshire Department of Fish and Game was notified of an injured Nordic skier on the Avalanche Brook Trail.

The skier was part of a group that had started at Pinkham Notch Visitor Center, intending to ski south to the Rocky Branch parking lot.
